Johnny Law was born on April 19, 1943 in Colorado City, Texas to parents John Franklin and Imogene (Odom) Law and entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2020 at the age of 76. Johnny served his country in the United States Army. He married the love of his life, Maria Schulze, on March 19, 1962 in Berlin, Germany. Johnny loved to fish and hunt, but his favorite thing to do was spoiling Maria. He enjoyed building things and if he built it, it was going to be perfect. Johnny took pride in everything he did. He loved his motorcycle and it drove Maria crazy that he had to purchase a new truck every 2 years. Family was important to Johnny, he loved them immensely, especially his grands and great-grands. Johnny was set in his ways on some things; like having 10 cups of coffee in the morning before he could get going and having his toddy in the evening. Johnny enjoyed going to Shreveport and he loved his two dogs; Cooper and Cookie. Johnny was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife Maria Law of Mabank, son Johnny Law and wife Annette of Mabank, son Ricky Law and wife Michelle of Canton, grandson Johnny Law and wife Rebecca of Mabank, grandson Joe Law and wife Wendy of Gun Barrel City, granddaughter Candy Law and husband Justin of Canton, grandson Jesse Law and wife Morgan of Gun Barrel City, granddaughter Fawn Chambers and husband Michael of Canton, grandson Wren Law and wife Crystal of Lindale, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way, brother LaJoe Law and wife Frieda of Forney, sisters; Movita Hilburn and husband Marshall of Bastrop and Nelda Clay of Irving, numerous beloved nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
