Joan Carol Anderson

Joan Carol Anderson, age 87, of Seven Points, Texas passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022. Joan was born July 11, 1934; to parents, John Wesley Jewett Sr. and Nannie Taylor. She was a caring and doting mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother; who loved spending time with her beautiful family. Her huge heart was devoted to raising her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joan used her artistic skills as a seamstress, until her sight no longer allowed. She loved painting, sewing, and doll making. Christian by faith, Joan attended the Legendary Baptist Church. Her compassion and selflessness will be remembered forever in her loved ones' hearts.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents, John W. Jewett Sr. and Nannie Taylor; sister, Virginia Adair; daughter, Nancy Carol Anderson; and brother, John Wesley Jewett Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Leo Anderson of Huntsville, TX. and Randy Lee Anderson with wife Debra of Belle Vernon, PA.; daughter, Rhonda Elaine Pitts of Seven Points, TX.; sister, Betty Sue Wammack of Mabank, TX.; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; along with 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
