Jason Fred Lewis

Celebration of life services for Jason Fred Lewis, 40, of Mabank, Texas will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, Texas with Pastor Glen Dyson officiating. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service beginning at 12:00 pm at the funeral home.

Jason passed from this life on September 17, 2024. He was born on August 30, 1984, in Irving, Texas to Billy Frederick Mathews and Pearl Francis (Eggers) Lewis . He grew up in Irving, Texas before moving to Eustace and graduating from Eustace High School. He then married the love of his life, Allison (Tull) Lewis on November 19, 2011, being blessed with 13 wonderful years together. Jason was a fun-loving individual who enjoyed the outdoors. He liked hunting, fishing and camping, along with telling jokes and stories. He collected guns as a hobby and during his free time he loved watching all sports, played fantasy football, and a mean game of 42. Jason was a volunteer firefighter with the Payne Springs Fire Department, where he liked to help people anytime he could, and the community thanks him for his service.

Jason is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Mathews and Pearl Lewis, and sister, Ruth Maldonado.

He is survived by his beautiful wife, Allison Lewis; sons: Cody Mathews, Corbin Ashley; daughters: Kadee Lewis, Dylan Lewis, Kinsley Lewis; sisters: Mary Tyson, Amy Bradshaw and husband, Casey; brother, Marty Mathews; parents-in-law, Steve and Linda Tull; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
