James Ellison Ozment was born on June 11, 1961 in Oklahoma City, OK to parents James and Doris (Moore) Ozment and entered into eternal rest on December 24, 2018 at the age of 57. James attended Mesquite High School and later earned his GED. He worked for Wal-Mart Warehouse in Terrell for 18 years. James married the love of his life, Sandra Tiner, on Novemer 25, 1991 in Oklahoma. Everyone that met James, immediately loved him and they respected him. He was a loyal friend with a great sense of humor. James loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. Also, pampering his plants and trees. James grew citrus trees; lemon, lime, tangerine and mandarin. He also grew fruit trees; peach, pear, plums, red and yellow apples. James loved working in the yard and garden. He was a member of Center of Hope Church in Payne Springs, where he was involved with the men’s fellowship. James loved the Lord and his church family. He loved attending church functions. James will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
James was preceded in death by his father James Ozment Sr., brother Charlie Ozment and grandmother Bonnie Danier.
He is survived by his loving wife Sandra Ozment of Payne Springs, daughter Ashley Kinney and husband Rich of Duncanville, grandsons; Dutch, Daxton and Patrick, mother Doris Owens of Balch Springs, step-mother Vanda Ozment of Grand Prairie, brother Daniel Ozment and wife Danielle of California, niece Louise Ozment, other loving family members and many more lifetime friends.
