James Thomas Jon Jones was born on November 16, 2000 to parents Thomas Andrew Jones and Dawn Richardson Yarbrough and entered into eternal rest on August 9, 2017 at the age of 16. James was a very happy, outgoing and free spirit. He was so adventurous and always wanting to try something new; James didn’t want to miss anything. He loved going swimming, riding his dirt bike, electric scooter and four wheeler, but he really loved mudding with his truck. James was an animal lover of all kinds, was notorious for bringing home animals to save in hopes of keeping. He was well known for his flips; James could run and do a flip off anything. James liked hanging out with his friends; listening to music, riding their dirt bikes, BMX bikes and skateboarding. He liked staying busy outside; hunting, fishing and target shooting. James was a student at Mabank High School. He was Christian by faith. James was an amazing young man, who always made you laugh. He had a smile that would melt your heart and anyone who had the opportunity to know him was lucky. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
James was preceded in death by his uncle Jon Fletcher and great-grandmother Ardath Knutson.
