Speedy was born November 26, 1963, to Serena Bynum and Frank Burgess in Dallas, TX. He as raised by his mom Serena Bynum and dad John Lee Malcolm in Athens, TX. Speedy was 60 residing in Frankston, TX when he passed. Speedy loved being outdoors, going fishing and deer hunting. Speedy helped people in any way he could, he would give the shirt off his back if that’s what was needed. Speedy would mow and brush hog neighbor's property whenever he wanted. He loved his little old tractor. The oilfield was not only his job/livelihood, but also his second home. In his younger days he loved to skate.
Speedy is survived by his wife, Kay Burgess; children, Christina Burgess, Jennifer Youngblood and husband Troy, Dennis Youngblood and wife Crystal; grandchildren, Caden, Callie, Willow, Dakota, J.D., Cheyenne, Ashley, Destiny, Nicholas, Leia, Zoe and Dustin; many great grandchildren; sisters, Vicki Schenck, Teresa Franklin, Michelle Burgess and Penny Templin; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He's preceded in death by his mother Serena Bynum, dad John Lee Malcolm, son Jimmy Youngblood, brother Frank Burgess, Jr., sister Gerri Gates, his father Frank Burgess and many other family and friends.
