Isiah Robertson Jr. was born on August 17, 1949 in Covington, Louisiana to parents Isiah and Doris (McGee) Robertson Sr. and entered into eternal rest on December 6, 2018 at the age of 69. Isiah was a former NFL Star Linebacker, playing for the LA Rams 1971-1978 and the Buffalo Bills 1979-1982. He went to the Pro Bowl six times, was named Rookie of the Year and was first round draft pick. Isiah was also known for helping others. He had a deep passion for this, so he started the House of Isiah near Mabank, Texas. House of Isiah is a faith based drug and alcohol treatment center for men. Isiah, being the founder, took it personally to reach out and help as many as he could. He was a member of Christian Life Center and held a membership with Calvary Cathedral International Church in Fort Worth. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf. Isiah was a man with a big heart, who wanted to change lives for the better. He was an amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Isiah will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Isiah was preceded in death by his parents, grandchild Everett Archie, sister Beverly Robertson, brother Kent Robertson and nephew Orlando Robertson.
He is survived by his children; Isiah Robertson of Sanford, NC, Jade Ashley Robertson of Los Angeles, CA, Georgia Page of Plano, step-daughters; Ashley Traister of Plano and Laura Archie of Dallas, grandchildren; Jason Traister, Brooke Archie and Owen Archie, brothers; Charles Moore and wife Augustine of Baton Rouge, LA, Dwight Robertson and wife Aileen of Mandeville, LA, Theard Robertson of Covington, LA and Andre Robertson of Covinton, LA, numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
