Helen Fay Shipp Carroll Rodgers

Helen Fay Shipp Carroll Rodgers, age 87, of Eustace, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. She was born May 30, 1934, in Cooper, TX. to parents, Doris Nolan and William Nathan Shipp. Helen was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, who had a passion of personal family genealogy. Hardworking and devoted, She was a mother to so many through the years helping anyone who needed that in their lives, she owned restaurants, a bridal boutique, real estate and even written her own book. Helen will be truly missed by all of those she met and loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Doris Nolan and William Nathan Shipp; 1st husband, Roy Carroll; 2nd husband, Bob Rodgers; son-in-laws, Johnny Corley and Will Sherman; along with her four brothers, Bobby Cecil, Pat and Willie.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Linda Corley of Eustace, TX. and Brenda Morgan of Eustace, TX.; brothers, Billy Cantrell of Waco, TX., and Herschel Shipp of Kemp, TX.; long time friend, Cheri Tucker and husband Sonny of Kemp, TX.; grandchildren, Misti Sowell and husband David of Eustace, TX.; Kristi and John Bustamante of Dallas, TX., Jody Sherman and wife Donna of Ft. Worth, TX., Kyla Robison of Canton, TX., great-grand children, Megan, Araminta, Melodi, David, Nathan, and George, Cory, and Preston; along with great-great-grandson, Michael Bustamante.

A Visitation will be held in the Chapel of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home Monday, February 7, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11:00am; officiated by Debra Turner. A Graveside service will occur immediately after service, located at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Irving, TX.
