Donna Carol Bailey

Donna Carol Dean Bailey, age 81, of Canton, Texas, a loving wife, devoted mother, doting grandmother, and cherished sister, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024, joining her beloved husband, Richard, in heaven on their 63rd wedding anniversary.

Donna was born on October 3rd, 1942, to Zona and Lester Dean. Her life was a tapestry of love and service, woven with the threads of her passion for sewing and cooking, especially her renowned mac and cheese.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bailey; and her brother, Johnny Dean. Her legacy lives on through her three children Dean, Angela, and Mike; her eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Gayle Lemonds; and sister-in-law, Sandy Dean.

Donna's commitment to her faith and community shone brightly as an active member of First Baptist Mabank, leading Awana's, serving the senior adult class, and participating in mission trips.

Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m., followed by funeral services at 10 a.m.
