Denise E. West was born on May 6, 1963 in Hayward, California to parents Herbert Mosley and Vera (Oliver) Mosley and entered into eternal rest on October 2, 2019 at the age of 56. Denise was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She loved her family dearly and loved caring for others. Denise loving cooking and doing all kinds of arts and crafts. She was Christian by faith. Denise will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Denise was preceded in death by her father Herbert Mosley, stepfather Joe Carver and grandson Gunner Houston.
She is survived by her husband Rodney West of Mabank, children; Erica Smith of Athens and Jessica West of Mabank, grandchildren; Henry Joe Smith and Kendryk Smith, mother Vera Carver, brothers; Brian Mosley of Mabank and Greg Mosley of Mabank, sister Sherry Mosley of Mabank, step-sisters; Laura Henry and husband Phil of Salisaw, OK and Lynette Quilici of Reno, Nevada, step-brothers; Rico Carver and Mikeal Carver, other loving family members and many more lifelong friends.
