Daniel was born on December 21, 1936 in Tioga, Texas to parents Ray Sam Wilson and Helen Mavis and entered into eternal rest on December 23, 2015 at the age of 79. Daniel married Evelyn Thorn on August 7, 1955. He was in the United States Navy and served in the Korean War. Daniel worked as a painter for over 50 years. He was a Deacon at Faith Baptist Community Church. Daniel loved deer hunting and spending time with his family. He was a very loving caring man who will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved him.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, sister Helen Gene Magnuss, brothers; Ray Sam Wilson Jr. and Leroy Wilson.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn Wilson of Mabank, sons; Danny Wilson and wife Maria of Mabank, Rusty Wilson and wife Jean of Payne Springs and Lee Roy Wilson and wife Teri of Payne Springs, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, brother Sammy Wilson of Camarillo, CA, sisters; Mary Lou Cooper of Point Richmond, CA and Kitty Thorn and husband Jackie of Hercules, CA, numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many more friends.
