Arthur Mondragon passed away on April 16, 2024, in Athens, Texas at the age of 72 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Glen Rose, Texas to his parents Asuncion Mondragon and Betty Flanary.
Arthur was a member of Cedar Creek Bible Church. In his spare time he loved going to play cards with his dear friends, watching the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers play. He loved going to the casinos to play 3 card poker. He also enjoyed going hunting and fishing. Arthur was extremely proud of all of his grandchildren. He would always be talking about his grandkids. He enjoyed cutting up and making jokes and always had a smile on his face.
He is preceded in death by his parents Asuncion Mondragon and Betty Flanary. His sisters Maria Elena Rodriguez, Brenda Case, and Sherry Chance.
He is survived by his son Aaron Mondragon and wife Kristin, daughter Valerie Twombly and husband Rick, 8 grandchildren - Ricky Twombly and wife Taylor, Aden Mondragon and wife Madison, Roman Twombly, Asa Mondragon, Ava Mondragon, and Austin Mondragon, sisters Barbara Stegall and Yolanda Garcia, and many extended family members.
