Tami Wells (Bowen) passed away in her sleep on October 24, 2017 at the age of 49. She was born at the Naval Hospital in Wahiawa, Hawaii on November 30, 1967. The youngest daughter of Joyce E. Bowen and Fred L. Bowen, she is survived by her six siblings, Jamie Palm, Joni Bowen, Jim Bowen, Jody Heinbaugh, Cristi Papen and Tony Bowen, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, her aunt Karen Burke, Uncle Roy Skip Ness and numerous cousins.
Tami grew up in Lynnwood, WA. Since graduating from Meadowdale High School, she lived in Las Vegas, NV, Sun Valley, ID and four years ago moved back to Everett, WA. She was married to and divorced from Steve Corrao and Mark Wells. While living in Las Vegas, Tami often volunteered at the homeless shelters and spent many holidays serving meals to those in need. And since moving back to Washington, she enjoyed doing volunteer work at Esther’s Place Drop-In Center in downtown Everett. She had a heart for the downtrodden and down-on-their-luck, and she found a sense of personal value and self-worth helping others.
A memorial service will be held for family and close friends. A Memorial Headstone will be placed at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Cemetery, Lynnwood. Tami was loved and will be missed. Rest in peace, Little Sissy.
