Sharon was born to Whit and Dorothy Frees in Seattle, WA on April 10th, 1942. Sharon graduated from Bothell High School in 1960.
She met Ivars Timss while she was in high school and they married on June 15th, 1961; they were married for 30 years. They resided in Kenmore, WA where Sharon was a stay-at-home mom until the early 80’s so she could raise her two daughters Stacy and Darcy. Sharon then went to work at UniSea Fish packing/processing plant in Redmond. In 1985, Sharon then went to work at Gais/Franz Bakery until she retired in 2004.
Sharon owned property at “The Lake” (Cavanaugh) where, after retirement, she decided to move to permanently. She loved the lake and having family gatherings there. Sharon enjoyed watching the Seattle Seahawks & Mariners, playing pinochle with her family, and playing her solitaire game on her phone which at one point she had played for 826 days straight. Sharon also enjoyed reading, bird watching, especially the hummingbirds at the lake, planting her yearly flowers, and sitting out in the sun taking in the beauty of the lake.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mom, dad, and her ex-husband Ivars Timss. She is survived by her two daughters, Stacy (Dave) Lockhart and Darcy (Chad) Uphaus; three grandchildren Ashleigh (Chris) Hoag, Megan Lockhart (Jordan), and Matthew Lockhart; six grandchildren McKenzie, Aiden, Brantley, Logan, Gunnar and Hunter; three siblings, Sally (Dick) Nelson, Cindy (Larry) Reed, and Tom Frees; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills on October 29th at 11:00 AM, 409 Filbert Rd. in Lynnwood, WA 98036. A Graveside Service will follow. A Celebration of Life will be held after the services starting at 12:30, at the Lynnwood Convention Center, 3711 196th St SW, Lynnwood, WA 98036 – Room 1 BC.
