Pamela Jean Micek
1954 - 2023
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Jean Micek (69) after a short illness on September 1st, 2023. Pam was born on April 30th, 1954 to Thomas Charles Micek and Cleo June Micek (nee Hall) in Colorado Springs, CO. She was the oldest of five girls; Cynthia (Ron), Kathleen, Linda (Bruce), and Tracy.
Pam attended Woodway High School, graduating in 1972. Afterward, she worked several different jobs, eventually landing a role working for the U.S. Customs department. She met her longtime partner Carolyn Fielding in 1980 at a Seattle bar and together they fostered many children, leading to the adoption of their four kids; Brittany (Marcus), Robert, Brittney (Chase), and Braxton. Pam enjoyed cooking, soap operas, event planning, and holidays.
Pam will be remembered as a mother, friend, sister, spouse, and grandmother to Mariah. She is preceded by her parents, brother-in-law(s) Tim & Ken, and her nephew Michael. She is survived by her partner, kids, sisters, granddaughter, brother-in-laws, and several nieces & nephews.
