Mavis Mae Peterson, a Sequim resident, passed away on June 16, 2016. She was 85.
She was born on February 3, 1931 in Salem, South Dakota to parents Robert and Astrid Greenough.
Mavis loved art collecting, sewing, and her dogs Suzie and Jazzy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings Russell Greenough and Wesley Greenough; and her daughter, Linda Peterson.
Mavis is survived by her loving husband, Eugene Peterson; children Loren Peterson and Lori (Randy) Hiatt; siblings Donald (Vivian) Greenough, Doris Nelson, and Wava Nicholas; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
There will be a funeral service on June 25, 2016 at 11AM at Purdy and Walters at Floral Hills 409 Filbert Road Lynnwood, WA 98036.
