Linda Sue Daniels, 71, of Snohomish, WA, passed away on December 10, 2023 of natural causes. She was born on January 20, 1952, in Columbus, GA, to the late Max and Kay Gibson. Linda was a very artistic person who loved making quilts for her family and friends, pouring her love and creativity into each stitch. She had a love for the Seahawks, cats and all things Halloween. Linda's talents extended beyond sewing as she was also skilled in photography and drawing.
Linda graduated from Issaquah High School in 1970 and went on to attend Burnley School of Arts in Seattle in 1972, which later became known as the Art Institute of Seattle. She then had a fulfilling career as a Graphic Artist/Computer Designer at Boeing, where she dedicated 35 years before retiring. Linda was also an active participant with the Sno-King Vietnam Veteran’s Chapter #423 and Calico Creations in Mt. Vernon.
Linda will be deeply missed by her surviving siblings, Steve Gibson (wife Becky), Rob Gibson (wife Drea), Doug Gibson (wife Lisa), and Carol Klentschy (husband Jim). She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Jenny Peters (partner Dan Swanson), step-daughter Dannie Nemes (husband Rob), and her cherished grandchildren: Devin Sisson, Hayley Peters, Molly Peters, Zee Nemes, Riley Peters, Leo Nemes, and great-grandchild Rainn Grimm. Linda also leaves behind her nieces Dani Valencia and Gwen Hoene, as well as her nephew Connor Klentschy.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son Mark Peters, her spouse Dan Daniels and her parents, Kay and Max Gibson.
A memorial service to celebrate Linda’s life will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home, located at 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA 98036 on Monday, February 12, 2023 from 1-2 pm.
