Kyle Thomas Palmer entered this world at home in Anchorage, AK on July 13, 1981. He had an incredibly eventful childhood in Washington and Minnesota as well as interesting travels in the Midwest, Deep South and Europe. In these younger years, he loved sports, modeling, acting and welcoming his younger brothers into the world.
Kyle’s passions in his teenage years were compelling and changed his life. He loved the emerging Grunge phenomena in Seattle and eventually the even more intriguing Punk Rock scene. He played in two bands, Phalanx and Contaminated, which gave him the opportunity to continue his travels throughout Europe and the USA.
His natural love for helping others led him to attain his EMT certification. He worked in both Oakland and Seattle as well as in Tanzania, Africa. Kyle had his eye on eventually becoming a Physician’s Assistant.
In 2010, a rare autoimmune disease affected Kyle and for which there was no known cause for its onset. For almost ten years, he navigated a path filled with medical challenges and compassionate support. Kyle did not let many people know he was ill. Even during his last few days of life, he talked about future travels and wanting to start a family.
Kyle had a brilliant sense of humor, tenacious independence, and undying loyalty to his friends, family and adopted rescue dog, Riley. He was larger than life in so many ways in how he lived...giving us some of the wildest stories and happiest memories to be cherished for a lifetime. He loved so many and I know he was loved back. We miss you angel!
Love always,
