Ken was born to Inez and Neil Nesheim in North Bend, Washington on July 5, 1954. The family later relocated to Bothell, Washington, where Ken attended and graduated from Bothell High School. Following high school, he began a career in the lumber industry, managing and supervising warehouses and the loading of containers. In 1977 he met and fell in love with Rebecca Pace. The pair eloped on May 27, 1980, shortly following the eruption of Mount St. Helens. Ken and Becky raised their two children, Felicia and Taylor, in Lynnwood, WA.
Over the years Ken and Becky worked together at Container Home Supply and Washington Automated, spending much of their time together both at home and work. As a family, their favorite past times included camping, road trips, visiting interesting landmarks and national parks, and just going on a drive on a nice day.
Ken was a self-taught handy man, always taking on new projects around the house and learning along the way. He loved cars and could often be found puttering around the yard or garage. In his later years he found great joy in spending time with his grandchildren, Brielle and Lucas.
Ken will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Neil and Inez. He is survived by his wife Becky, daughter Felicia (Robert), son Taylor, grandchildren Brielle and Lucas, brothers Larry (Laurie) and Dale (Yumi), and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road in Lynnwood, WA 98036 on Friday, April 26th, 2024, beginning at 11:00am.
