Kathy Kuan Quan

Kathy was born in Manila Phillipines in 1946. As a young girl she liked to run track, took school very seriously, and helped her family at their department store. She was the youngest of 7 children. Her father passed away before she turned 1 so she was raised by her older brothers.

She finished college with an interior design degree and moved to Toronto, Canada when she was 22. While there she met her husband to be. They were married in 1976.

She moved to Seattle shortly after to raise her family. She had 3 children Raymond, Elaine and Justin. In order to support her family she got a job at the post office where she worked for the next 25 years. She retired when her first grandchild was born in 2011. With all the new free time she had, she got to travel with her brothers and sisters to different parts of the world.

She loved to sing, dance, and took simple joys in doing daily crossword puzzles, playing candy crush and sudoku. She passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after her battle with ALS in her final years.

She is survived by her husband Luis, her 3 children Raymond, Elaine and Justin and her 6 grandchildren Lleyton, Addisyn, Ellyana, Clara, Dyllan, and Bennett.
