

Kay had a graceful presence, an infectious laugh, and a beautiful smile that could light up a room. She was a loyal friend, gracious hostess, and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid reader, and she enjoyed sewing and playing bridge.
Kay was born on December 3, 1940 in Pocatello, Idaho to parents Kenneth and Beryl Tallmadge.
She earned a B.A. in English from Washington State University and spent the first part of her working career as a teacher in the West Valley and Bellevue school districts and Edmonds Community College. She later enjoyed a successful career as a realtor.
Kay and her husband, Bardell “Buzz” Miller, were married in Seattle in 1966 and moved to Everett in 1967. On Apri 9, 2016, they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Kay passed away peacefully in her sleep the next morning.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Beryl Tallmadge; her brother, Donald Tallmadge; and her dear aunt, Barbara Tallmadge. She is survived by her husband, Bardell Miller; daughter, Stacey Dell’Osso; son Andrew Miller; and three grandchildren.
There will be a burial service on Monday, April 18, 2016 for immediate family at Floral Hills Cemetery in Lynnwood, Washington. There will be a memorial celebration of Kay’s life, to which all are invited, on Saturday, April 30 at the Everett Golf & Country Club from 2:00-5:00pm.
