Hunter Eppa Hicks III

Hunter was born on December 11, 1948 to Hunter Hicks II and Mary Armstrong. He grew up in Fredericksburg, VA. Hunter joined the Navy in 1967. After basic training he was stationed at Whidbey Island Navy base. While station there he met the love of his life Billie Anne Delaney. They married on January 20, 1968. They had two sons Perry and Owen. Hunter enjoyed racing, working on cars, camping, and his family.

He is survived by: Sons; Perry (Misti) Hicks and Owen Hicks both of Edmonds, WA. Grandchildren; Jourdanne Hewson of Everett, WA, Annaliese Hicks of Edmonds, WA, and Jesse Mossman of Sultan, WA. Great Granddaughters; Rylynn Hicks-Whitney and Addilyn Hewson both of Everett, WA. Sister Betty Lou (George) Jerrell of Spotsylvania, VA. Sister-in-laws Marci Delaney of Lynnwood, WA and Kathy (Eric) Meislahn. Nieces; Mellonie Skebo and Aimee (Chris) Peek both of Spotsylvania, VA. Among other family in Virginia.

He is preceded in death by; his Wife Billie Anne, Brother, James Lloyd Hicks, Brother-In-Law, Stephen Delaney, his parents, in-laws, and other family members.

A celebration of life for Hunter will be held Monday, October 14, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA 980364934, followed by an inurnment from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
