Born in Syracuse, N.Y. of immigrant Sicilians, Grace was a true Italian princess. Firey and outspoken, she rode a plow horse at her parent's vegetable farm, drove the truck to market and baked bread for the family of 11 siblings.
She was a great mom and very caring person. Grace (MA) would take her children hunting, fishing camping and on many adventurous road trips. She enjoyed cooking and was an excellent cook.
In her honor, her son Patsy and favorite daughter in -law Cheri, named their beautiful, old yacht, “Grace”. Like the boat, she was proud and elegant, dressed to the nines and polished to perfection, never without her happy face.
Her daughter in law, Cheri, became her best friend, wine sipping buddy and confidante.
Fierce to the end, she left us after the big party for her 96th birthday. She was in fine form, laughing and enjoying her daughter's gift of eggplant and cannoli cupcakes and the love of her family.
She is survived by, her son Pat (Cheri), daughter Phyllis (Bill), and grandchildren Isaac, Rachel and Kevin and many nieces and nephews.
She will be missed.
A private family graveside service will be held April 25, 2024 at 2PM in the Azalea Mausoleum
