Gerald Marvin Jeffries

Gerald "Jerry" Marvin Jeffries age 83 of Arlington, Washington passed away peacefully on July, 16th 2023. Gerald was surrounded by people who loved and cared about him deeply. Gerald was born to Everett and Oma Jeffries on November 7th, 1939 in Brumley Missouri. Gerald attended Eisenhower high School in Yakima Washington. After graduating he joined the Reserves and then the Marines and proudly served his country with an honorable discharge after nine and a half years of service in 1959. Gerald met Janet Specht after courting her for 9 months before getting married on September 30th, 1960. During 62 years of marriage Gerald and Janet raised four children together. Gerald leaves behind his loving wife Janet, Daughter Sharon, Son Mark, Son Troy, Daughter LeAnn and bonus son Jimmy. 11 great-grandchildren, 13 great- great grandchildren and two great-greats. Gerald will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. A service to remember and celebrate Gerald's life, a graveside service and a remembrance reception to follow will be held at Purdy and Walters Floral Hills Funeral home on July 31st 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
