Franklin "Frank" Madison Hughes, age 90, of Seattle, Washington passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022.
Frank was born on July 16, 1932 in Benge, Washington. He grew up in Benge and Endicott on Union Flat in the Palouse. After high school, he enlisted in the Army and fought in the Korean War. He then attended WSU where he received a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Frank then moved to Seattle where he married Patricia Anne Derick and they started a family. Frank was an avid model builder and woodworker; he made many projects, including toys for the kids. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia, parents Bill and Ruby Hughes, brother Clarence Hughes, and grandson Travis Hughes. Frank's brother Bill passed 2 weeks after Frank did. Frank is survived by sons Jeff and Greg, and grandsons Chase and Brandan. Frank will be missed by everyone who knew him.
