Evelyne Parker

Evelyne Parker passed away at the age of 82 on December 13, 2011, in Mountlake Terrace, WA. She was born on May 16, 1929 in Chilliwack, BC. She was an RN at Northgate & Swedish Hospitals since 1962 until retirement. She was preceded in death in March 2009 by her loving husband of 55 years, Darrell.

She is survived by her 2 daughters; Gail (Jim) Streckenbach and Cheryl (Chaz) Mull; 2 wonderful grandchildren, Bonnie and Max; her loving Canadian family; Lorraine, Al, Lorne, Fran, Lori, Mike, Alyssa, Dean, Tracy and Doreen and many, many dear friends including Jake & Eileen Lane.

She was a member of the Sanctuary Church in Lake Forest Park and there too had a great family.

She loved Elvis, the Duke, Johnny Cash and Jim playing his guitar and harmonica. She enjoyed her coffee clutches, church bazaars, children and Christmas. She cared about everyone. There are many memories of traveling and going to Air Force events. Her hair always had to look good. You’ll look great for Dad! We will miss you mom.

An Inurnment will be held January 5, 2012 at 10:30am at Floral Hills Cemetery, 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA 98036
