Douglas “Doug” Carl Lundstrom, 64, of Snohomish, Washington left us unexpectedly on September 5, 2023 following complications after surgery. Doug was born on January 7, 1959 to his loving parents, Donald Lundstrom, Sr. and Elizabeth Lundstrom (née Smith), in Spokane, Washington.
Doug graduated from Mead High School in 1977 and then moved to Western Washington in 1980. In 1984 Doug embarked on his entrepreneurial journey and founded his successful business, The Northwest Gardener. Doug married the love of his life, Connie Lundstrom (née Amistoso) in 1991 and together they resided in Snohomish for 27 years and celebrated 32 years of marriage. They recently fulfilled Doug’s longtime dream of building a beautiful new home on their land.
Doug was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald Lundstrom, Jr. Doug is survived by his wife Connie and two beloved sons Kyle Lundstrom (Jana) and Hunter Lundstrom (Chelsea). He is also survived by his sister Barbara Lundstrom, as well as several nephews and nieces.
Doug’s vibrant and witty personality endeared him to all who crossed his path. His zest for life was evident through his many passions including golfing, tending to his yard, hosting lively poker nights, announcing Glacier Peak High School football games, exploring the wonders of Maui with Connie, reveling in the achievements of his sons, and expressing his creativity through playing music.
To celebrate Doug's remarkable life, a service will be held on October 7th at 2:00pm at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills (409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA 98036). Let us come together to honor the legacy of a man whose warmth, humor, and enthusiasm for life continue to inspire his community.
