Dorothy M. Turner

Dorothy was a very loving, caring and kind person. She opened her home to family and friends for all special occasions. She was a very gracious hostess and made everyone feel special and appreciated.

Her husbands Warren Nelson and Boyd Turner preceded her in death, as did her only child Dennis Nelson. Dorothy is survived by her granddaughter Gayle; great grandchildren Ilia and Aaron; three great-great grandchildren, all of California; and her brother, Don Stites (Lois) of Snohomish. She also leaves many relatives and friends who loved her dearly.

A Celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home 409 Filbert Rd., Lynnwood, WA on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s name may be made to the Nazarene World Mission at Church of the Nazarene PO Box 843116 Kansas City, MO 64184-3116.
