Survived by her husband, Chris Drenkow; children, Carter and Courtlyn Drenkow; mother, Janice Batchelor; grandmother, Charlotte Batchelor and various aunts and uncles.
Preceded in death by her father, Dennis Petersen and aunt, Nancy Schwalier.
Graduated from Roosevelt High School and studied Political Science at WWU.
Danica loved spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and helping those in need through regular volunteering. One of her greatest joys was watching her children play basketball and embark on new adventures. She also had a deep appreciation for animals and often adopted pets in need of a home. She took the time to learn about the people she adored even if they only spoke once or twice. She most recently worked for the Everett Public School District and loved working with kids.
Remembrances may be made in the form of a donation to a local animal shelter.
