In 1977, she immigrated to the United States with her husband, eldest son’s family, and youngest daughter. She spent much of her life as a homemaker in Richmond, Virginia. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, and socializing with her many church friends.
In 1995, she became a widow. Several years later she moved to Everett, WA, to be with her eldest son. She enjoyed taking care of her orchids, watching Korean dramas, telling stories, and spending time with her family.
She passed away peacefully in her sleep at 9:20pm on February 12th, 2012, in Everett, WA. She was 89 years old.
We will always remember her great sense of style, witty conversation, and that unforgettable red washcloth.
The greatest legacy she leaves behind is to live with integrity and to always do your best.
