His life was devoted to his work, his hobbies and his greatest passion of all his family.
He was gifted with music as equally as he was with vehicles. He had many wonderful ethics and morals that he lived by in his life. We all loved him for his goofy antics, outrageous sense of humor and his “my way or the high way attitude.” In his life he was the wonderful husband to a wonderful woman of a wife. The father to two incredible children and a wonderful “poppo” to his two grandchildren. In all ways whether he’s a; husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, brother in law, cousin, friend, uncle or great uncle he has touched many lives. A very hard worker all his life. A devoted family man who loved to throw the best gatherings that almost always included him playing music. His two favorite worlds together. When I sit back and think of him I can still hear him play a Beach Boys tune on the guitar while I would sing with him on the couch. He was surrounded by the things he loved in his life, a very content man.
So today we honor a man who loved the simple life. Who loved projects, music, his family, his work, his car shows, and the classic things. He accomplished so many things and received many awards for his outstanding hard work and dedication. You could always count on him. If you needed help he was there. I remember his last hope was that he wanted his family to come together and even for a few moments on this day, his wish did come true.
We love and honor him on this day.
Though you are gone and in a better place you will never be forgotten.
In the words of Carl "Gene Massey Jr. “and the hits, they just keep coming.”
