Bonnie Jean Cooper was born in Snohomish, Washington on October 2, 1937 to Alvin and Lorinne Cooper. She had 4 siblings Donald, Glenda, Ron, and Steve. She was the second to the oldest. The family lived in the Maltby area. Bonnie graduated from Snohomish High School in 1955.
Bonnie and John were married on June 29, 1956 at St. Brendan’s Church in Bothell. They had three children in a short amount of time Lori, Gordie and Sheryl. The kids grew up in the house on 110th in Everett.
Bonnie worked at several banks through out the years and made many good friends. The last bank she worked at was Citybank in Lynwood and she enjoyed her time there.
Bonnie and John loved spending time with their grandkids Kyle, Melissa, Brandon and Makenzie. They went on many trips and camping adventures together.
Bonnie’s favorite thing to do was travel. Bonnie and John went on numerous cruises, traveled with their RV around the US, and they loved to go to Hawaii. For their 50th wedding anniversary family and friends went to Hawaii to watch Bonnie and John renew their vows. It was a trip of a lifetime!
Bonnie and John also liked to go to Yuma, Arizona for several months out of the year. They even bought a casita in Yuma and made many fun memories there.
Bonnie and John had their 64th wedding anniversary in June of 2020.
Bonnie Companion, age 82, passed away in Mount Vernon on Friday, August 14, 2020.
