Barbara Boulanger Hopke, mother, grandmother and great grandmother was born on September 23, 1937. She passed away peacefully at Serenity Heights Adult Family Home in Lynnwood Saturday March 22, 2025. She was 87. She leaves behind her son Joseph Hopke (Irene'), daughters Dolores Flaherty (John), and Susan Holland. Her sister Diane Mason. Her grandchildren Michael Flaherty, Brian Flaherty (Michele) Crystal Robbins (Jared), Tom Tobin, Ben Hopke (Raylene), Monica Seaford (Lane) and Clint Hopke. Her great grandchildren Declan and Liam Flaherty, Shaylin and Lane Seaford, and Augustus Hopke, Winston and Gwyneth Robbins.
Barbara's husband Joseph Karl Hopke and two special men in her life were Burt Stearns and Colin McCrae, all previously deceased.
Barbara spent her life raising her kids and also was a dedicated employee for the United States Postal Service from which she retired. There will be a private graveside burial.
