Virginia Ruddock

Born in Salem, Ginny was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Mary (McHugh) Dorion. She was a resident of Boxford for over 10 years, previously residing in Peabody and Lynn. She also enjoyed winters in Naples, FL. In earlier years, Ginny worked at both the Essex Trust Bank and the Columbia National Bank.

Ginny volunteered at the Hogan Regional Center teaching swimming to special needs students and also volunteered at Lynn Hospital. An avid reader, she also loved cooking, telling stories to her grandchildren and attending their many activities.

She leaves her children, David C. Ruddock and his wife Cindy of Boxford, Mark E. Ruddock and his late wife Kathy of Amesbury, Gary D. Ruddock and his wife Donna of Merrimack, NH and Meredith R. Norton and her husband Leo of Amesbury. She was the sister of Maureen Deyesso and her husband Bob of Hampton Falls, NH. Also survived by her grandchildren, Justin and his wife Liz, Evan, Jillian, Tyler, Ryan and Kristen Ruddock and Connor and Daniel Norton as well as many nieces and nephews.

Ginny’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Wednesday at 10:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Peabody at 11:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Puritan Lawn Memorial Park. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8PM. Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Michael J.
