Mrs. Susan A. (Healey) Hamel, 63 of Lynn died Monday in a local nursing home after a lengthy illness.
Susan was born in Lee, Massachusetts, daughter of the late James and Eleanor (Britton) Healey. She was a resident of Peabody for several years and previously resided in West Springfield.
Susan worked as a Physical Therapist at Challenged Physical Therapy in West Springfield.
Susan is survived by her loving son Craig A. Hamel and his wife Joanne of Lynn, 2 loving grandchildren Connor and Nicole Hamel. She is also survived by 2 nephews James Healey of Agawam and Daniel Healey of Miami,FL.
She was the sister of the late Paul Healey.
Funeral Services will be in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn, Friday at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 5-7 PM. Interment will be at a later date.
