Stephen A. “Steve” Dupuis, age 35, of Lynn, died November 24, 2014 in Massachusetts General Hospital from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in July. He was the beloved husband of Carin (O’Blenes) Dupuis, with whom he shared 10 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, Steve was the only child of Valerie (Blinn) Dupuis and the late Arthur Dupuis. Steve also leaves his stepfather, James Perkins. He attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn Vocational Technical High School Class of 1998. He was a lifelong resident of Lynn.
A go-getter and successful electrician, Steve owned and operated Stephen Dupuis Electrician for over 6 years. He built his business on providing kind, loyal and friendly service to his customers, as he knew without them his business would not prosper. In what little downtime Steve had, he enjoyed watching movies, his favorite about all… Goonies. He was infamous for one-liners and easily joked and enjoyed making people laugh.
The only thing that mattered more than his customers; is his family. Steve is a proud father to his beautiful and creative daughter Jazmyn Dupuis of Lynn, 17 years of age. He was not just a father, husband, and son but an extraordinary man who lived life fearlessly. As stubborn as he was, he was just as generous all the while sharing kindness, hope, and love with others.
In addition to his wife, daughter, mother and stepfather, he also leaves his uncle, Bernard Blinn and his cousin Jessica Blinn both of California.
Steve’s Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Tuesday at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be sent to the St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
