Richard Mark McHugh

Richard McHugh of Saugus, formerly of Lynn, entered into rest August 7, 2021 at the age of 75. He was the cherished son of the late Joseph and Mary (Horgan) McHugh, loving brother of Elizabeth McHugh and the late Stephen McHugh, brother-in-law to Beverly McHugh and William Ladouceur, Jr. and beloved uncle to Eric (Haley), Michael (Cheryl) and Katie Ladouceur.

Richard was born with an intellectual disability and grew up with his loving family in Lynn. He brought much joy to the family over the years. As an adult, he had the opportunity to move to a group home in Saugus run by Bridgewell. There he found his second loving home where he lived for more than 30 years. The family is most grateful for the Bridgewell staff that lovingly cared for him over the years.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Richard on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 12:30 pm at Pine Grove Cemetery 145 Boston St. Lynn. Please meet inside the Boston Street entrance by 12:15.
