Born in East Boston and a graduate of East Boston High School, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Delia (Mazza) D’Amico.
He served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Ralph formerly owned the Ralph D’Amico Texaco Gas Station in Saugus. He then worked as a custodian at the Lynn Vocational and Technical Institute.
He enjoyed sports, especially hockey. But he especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Ralph also played the violin.
He leaves three daughters Marianne T. Doyle of Portsmouth, NH, Delores M. McLaughlin of Cotuit, MA, and Patricia P. Bourquin and her husband John of Winchendon, a sister Jenny D’Amico of East Boston, seven grandchildren Rhonda Martin, Kevin Doyle, Delores Bain, Warren Bain, Stephanie Goucher, Danielle McLaughlin and Suzanne Manning, three great-grandchildren Ashlynn Bain, Davin Bain and Natasha Martin, two nieces, a great-niece, a great-nephew and two great-greatnieces.
The funeral will be held on Friday at 11:30 AM from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake Street, Peabody. Visitation period Friday morning starting at 10:00 AM.
