Patricia E. Hines-Stafford

Patti was born in Lynn, daughter of Retired Lynn Police Lt. John F. Hines of Lynn and the late A. Maureen (Nolan) Hines. She was a resident of North Reading for the past 16 years and previously resided in Lynn. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1979. She went on to Salem State College where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 1983. Patti has been working towards her Master’s Degree at Northeastern University.

Patti was a Registered Nurse at the North Shore Medical Center Union Hospital Emergency Room for the past 28 years.

Patti’s true devotion was spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed planting flowers, gardening and swimming. She was also devoted to honoring her brother’s memory with the yearly attendance of the scholarship fund in Chinatown for the Maryknoll Fathers.

In addition to her husband and father she is survived by her two sons Steven James Stafford of Arlington, VA and Christopher John Stafford of No. Reading. One sister Kathleen A. Castello and her husband Lawrence of Burlington, VT. Her mother in law Lottie Stafford of Waltham, her sister in law Susan Link of Cambridge. Patty is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was the sister of the late Reverend John D. Hines, M.M. and Sheila M. Hines.

Patricia’s Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Lynnfield. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Memorial Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 PM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn. Interment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery, Lynn.
