Natalie Ann (Gardiner) Newman, 90, a lifelong resident of Lynn, passed away, unexpectedly on Monday, July 20, 2015. Born in Lynn, Natalie was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Nora (Howard) Gardiner; the beloved wife of 58 years of the late Cleveland Newman; loving mother of Steven Newman and his wife, Dorothy of Lynn; the dear sister of the late Jeanne Galvin; the aunt of Dawn Barnard of Saugus and Kenneth Smigliani and his wife, Linda of Windham NH and several grandnieces and nephews. Natalie worked for GE in Lynn for over 20 years until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of I.U.E Local #201 AFL/CIO. She loved the beach, studied dancing in her youth and enjoyed dancing at the Peabody Senior Center and other activities with her close friend, Jennie Ruggiero of Peabody
Natalie’s funeral service will be held at the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St., Lynn, on Thursday, July 23rd, at 12:00 p.m. noon. Interment will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to call at the Funeral Home on Thursday morning prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. noon.
