Matthew was born September 1, 1985 at Melrose- Wakefield Hospital in, Melrose, MA. He is the son of Harold F. Quinn III and Marilyn V. (Stone) Quinn of Peabody, MA. He was a longtime resident of Peabody and graduated from Peabody High school in 2004.
Matthew had a Talent for cooking and was a chef for many years, but his real passion was playing video games from the time he was a small child. Keeping up with the latest games and consoles, as an adult he was able to play as a semiprofessional gamer. He loved to play games with all of his online friends from all over the world, but enjoyed being able to play the Tiger Woods Golf game with his father and Godfather when he got the chance.
He was an avid sports fan, no matter the sport; if it was on he was going to watch it. Baseball was always one of his favorites to be able to play and he was able to play from kids T-ball all the way through high school. From the Kentucky Derby to baseball he loved them all, but as a loyal New Englander he especially enjoyed being able to watch the local Bruins, Red Sox, and Patriots games every time that they were on.
In addition to his father and mother Matthew is survived by his beloved sister Kelly Quinn of Salem, MA. He is also survived by his many Cherished Aunts, Uncles, and cousins and friends.
The visitation and funeral services for Matthew are being held privately, in lieu of flowers donations in Matthew's name may be made to The Northeast Animal Shelter at www.northeastanimalshelter.org.
