White, Marilyn “Mimi” (Eames) – Of Lynn passed away on Thursday May 5, 2022 at the age of 86. She was the wife of the late Ronald White. Marilyn was known best as “Mimi” by all who knew her. She was the devoted mother of Wendi Whitcomb and her husband Paul of Lynn and Mark White and his wife Sandra Neptune of Sydney, ME. She was the cherished grandmother of Keri, Erik and Kati Whitcomb of Lynn, Michelle Perry of Pelham, NH and Allison White of Wells, Maine. She was born on June 21, 1935 in Lynn, to the late Harold Edwin and Gladys (Need) Eames. Marilyn is also survived by many loving family and friends.
She loved her family and lived for her children and grandchildren. She loved to watch her grandchildren play sports and cheer them on with joy. She was an avid fan of all the Boston sports teams, the Bruins, Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics. Always cheering them on and occasionally yelling at the tv to get them in gear. Marilyn enjoyed traveling to many places especially Aruba and Ogunquit Maine. She worked at the Ingalls Elementary school in Lynn and enjoyed every moment of it. She was an avid bingo player and loved her casino and would drive herself frequently to Encore and Foxwoods. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial visitation will be held for Marilyn on Saturday May 14th from 10am – 2pm at the Cuffe- McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Kaplan Family Hospice House 78 Liberty St. Danvers MA. 01923.
