Lisa Arena

Lisa A. (Gallagher) Arena, age 58 of Nahant, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Charles Arena, with whom she shared 28 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn to the late Lottie (Beauchain) Gallagher. She grew up in Nahant, graduated from Lynn Classical High School and earned her Associate’s Degree at Marian Court College. Lisa worked for Delta Air Lines, Equitable Bank, and Nahant Town Hall, where she enjoyed serving her community.

Lisa and Charlie raised their family in Nahant. She enjoyed going to Canoe Beach and spending time with friends and family. Lisa was truly a devoted mother and wife, and loved providing a helping hand to all.

In addition to her husband Charles, Lisa is survived by her loving children Charles and Lauren Arena; her siblings Richard Gallagher and Diane Gallagher; and her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her mother Lottie Gallagher and her brother David Gallagher.

Friends and family are invited to attend Lisa’s visitation on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 8:45 AM at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 248 Nahant Road, Nahant. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nahant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lisa's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
