Kathleen M. (Robertson) Codair, 72, of Lynn died Friday, August 13, 2021 at home, surrounded by loved ones after a lengthy illness. She is the wife of the late Francis J. Codair, with whom she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this year.
Born in Lynn, daughter of the late Albert W. and Elizabeth (Champigny) Robertson, she was a graduate of Lynn English High School, Class of 1966. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
She was employed in the manufacturing industry for over twenty years, primarily at General Electric in Wilmington, while raising her daughters, and later at Market Basket in Danvers.
Kathy is known for her kind and generous heart, her fun sense of humor, and her love for her family. She could fix almost anything, enjoyed her crossword puzzles and scratch tickets, and was known in multiple states for her delicious homemade pizza. She enjoyed vacationing in Wells, Maine with Frank, and her pure joy was spending both silly and serious time with her grandson.
Kathy leaves two daughters, April Codair of Lynn and Mary Codair Martin and her husband Michael of Lynn, as well as her “favorite grandson” Justin Codair.
She is survived by her siblings; Theresa Ford of VA, Robert Robertson and his wife Annette of Lynn, Carol Robertson and her husband Steve Ham of Londonderry, NH; as well as several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in law, and lifelong friends. She was the sister of the late Albert Robertson, Jr and his wife Judy, and sister-in-law of the late Richard Ford.
Family and friends are invited to attend Kathy’s visitation at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Lynn.
