Mrs. Karen Ann (Huntington) Curcio, age 73, of Lynn, died Thursday night in Union Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Frederick Curcio, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.
Born in Lynn, Karen was the daughter of the late Alex and Alice (White) Huntington. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School and resided in Lynn her entire life.
For many years, Karen was a well-known waitress at the former Rolly’s Restaurant. She was a member of the V Club at St. Pius V Church, organized monthly bus trips to Foxwoods and enjoyed boating.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her sons, Kevin Curcio and Mark Curcio and his wife Shawna all of Lynn. She was the Grandmother to Christina Garcia, Gina Curcio, Shaun Curcio, Lacey Curcio and Logan Curcio and the Great Grandmother to Justin Garcia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Karen was the sister-in-law of the late Edward Curcio and Dolly Choquette.
Karen’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Tuesday at 9:30AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends invited.
