Joseph J. LaFratta Jr.

Born in Haverhill, MA, Joey was the beloved son of Joseph J. LaFratta, Sr. of Peabody and Elaine (Brown) LaFratta of Peabody.

Joey attended Lynn English High School and graduated from Revere High School. He worked as a Sales Associate in the automotive industry. He was an avid sports fan and a faithful supporter of all the Boston teams. He loved reading and was a published author. He also enjoyed golf and was a history buff, especially of the Roman and Greek empires. Of all the things dear to him, he received the most pleasure spending time with his nieces and nephews. He absolutely loved supporting them, whether it be taking them to the movies or cheering them on in dance or a sporting event. He also cherished being Papa Joe to Roman.

In addition to his parents and wife, those left to cherish his memory are his brother and sister in law, Jay and Charro Lafratta of Winthrop and his sister and brother in law, Paula and Rod Fessenden of Peabody. He also leaves several broken hearted nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Joey’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am in Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, MA. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00pm. For more information or to register in the online guestbook, please visit www.cuffemcginn.com
