Jean Johnson

Born in Portsmouth, NH to the late John and Dorothy (Faulkner) Philbrook. She grew up in Rochester, NH, graduated from Spaulding High School, and raised her family in Lynn. Jean worked for Sylvania in Salem then later worked for Analogic in Peabody. She had a passion for golf and was a dedicated member of the Orange Blossom Gardens Golf Club in Lady Lake, Florida. She fulfilled her dream of living on a golf course when her and Richard moved to Lady Lake in the late eighties and lived on the number twelve green.

Jean is survived by her sons Richard Johnson, Jr. and his wife Elaine of Ossipee, NH, Terry Johnson and his wife Deborah of Lynn, Mark Johnson of Haverhill and Gregg Johnson and his wife Angie of Lynn. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends and family are invited to attend Jean’s visitation on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park.
