Greg DeMarco

Gregory J. “Greg” DeMarco, age 46 of Nahant, passed away at his home on Monday, February 12, 2018. Greg was born in Lynn on December 8, 1971 the son of Leonard A. DeMarco, Jr. and Mary E. (Lomasney) DeMarco. He was raised and educated in Lynn. Greg worked at Seaside Restaurant in Nahant for 20 years as a cook.

Greg enjoyed going to antique fairs. He was always on the lookout for the next “great find”. He was a collector of unique items such as sports memorabilia, comic book collections, Disney items, old Coca-Cola items etc. He had amassed quite a large private collection over the years and was very proud of it. Greg was also a huge New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan.

Greg was predeceased by his father, Leonard A. Demarco, Jr. and his brother, Anthony DeMarco. He is survived by his mother, Mary (Lomasney) DeMarco of Lynn, his sisters; Amy (DeMarco) Cruz and her husband, John of Lynn and Pamela DeMarco and her fiancé, Brian Schoener of Waltham. One niece, three nephews and numerous cousins also survive him.

Family and friends are invited to attend Greg’s Memorial Visitation on Tuesday, February 20, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, MA 01904. A brief prayer service will take place at the end of the visitation at 7 PM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In-lieu of flowers, donations in Greg’s memory are requested to the charity of one’s choice.
