Gary E. McKernan

Born in Lynn, he was the son of Dorothy (Muise) Fennell of Lynn and the late William E. McKernan. He was a resident of Lynn for most of his life.

Gary worked as an Exterminator and most recently worked for B & B Pest Control in Lynn. He was a member of the Franco American Club of Beverly. An avid music lover, Gary enjoyed playing his guitar, singing, fishing, his motorcycle and playing softball. He was also an avid sports fan, especially hockey and baseball.

In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves his children, Daniel Burns-McKernan, Kendra McKernan and Ryan McKernan all of Lynn and Matthew Bowley and David Harding both of Salem. He was the brother of Paul McKernan and his wife Donna of Peterborough, NH, Claire Areyzaga and her husband John of Peabody and Cheryl McKernan of Lynn. Loving Grandfather to Cambria, Jayden and Abigale. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday from 4-6PM followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00PM. Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
