Born in Lynn and a lifelong Lynn resident, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Caroline L. (Ruff) Jarvis. She graduated from Lynn English High School Class of 1948.
Before retiring, Frances was the Head Clerk at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn for 38 years. She was an active member of St. Stephen’s Memorial Episcopal Church and taught Sunday School for 17 years.
She leaves a sister Blanche Thomas of Onset, MA, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ethel D. Young, Loretta B. Jarvis, Evelyn G. Thomas, Lydia G. Turner, Clara B. Jarvis, Henry R. Jarvis, Vincent B. Jarvis and James W. Jarvis.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at Noon in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited. A Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 11:00 AM.
